Can I have a Formal Hairstyling and/or Makeup Trial?
You sure can! You can book a Formal Preview Online or or if you would prefer mobile services, please fill out a separate Mobile Booking Form with your desired appointment date and EMK Artistry will get back to you as soon as possible to confirm availability and calculate an appropriate travel fee.

Can you travel to me on my Formal?
I sure can! Please note that travel fees will apply. If you would prefer Mobile Services for your special formal, please fill out the Mobile Booking Form. I would recommend filling out and submitting this form early so we can secure your appointment as there are limited spots available. Once you have submitted your Mobile Booking Form, Em will send you through an email with a quotation and further information on securing your appointment.

What is a Formal Preview?
If you have elected to book a Formal Preview, Em will work with you to explore and refine your ideal Formal Look in preparation for the big day. Formal Previews are beneficial for working out what you like and what you aren't completely vibing with when it comes to your ideal hairstyling and/or makeup look. Em takes comprehensive notes of products and techniques utilised during your Formal Preview so we can perfect your look for your big celebration.

What do I need to do to prepare for my Formal?
EMK Artistry will provide you with a Formal Guide, inclusive of Formal skincare preparation tips and more useful information in the lead up to the day. You will receive a Booking Reminder in the lead up to your day.

What if you cancel before my formal and I can't find anyone?
EMK Artistry is committed to being there for you on your special day. Em will be in contact with you prior to your appointment and will send you a text on the day itself to reassure you of this commitment. If, under the rare circumstance that EMK Artistry is unable to do your Formal Hairstyling and/or Makeup due to an emergency, illness or any other unexpected circumstance, both your deposit and remaining amount will be refunded to you as soon as practicable. Reasonable efforts will be made by EMK Artistry to find a replacement professional Hairstylist and/or Makeup Artist of a similar style for your event. Please note that EMK Artistry cannot guarantee that the replacement artist's prices will be the exact same as EMK Artistry's prices.
